"When will you meet me again, Butterfly? Please, come back to me. I’m stuck in the moment I first saw you. Every year, I celebrate the day you came into my life, the day I saw you for the first time. That was the best day of my life."
~ Rudraaksh Agnihotri
Rudraaksh Agnihotri’s heart has been anchored to a memory for years the memory of his "Butterfly," the woman he could never forget. Every year, on the anniversary of that fateful meeting, he drowns himself in the memory of her, unable to move on, unable to love anyone else.
Meanwhile, Rashmi Verma feels invisible, unworthy of love in a society that values fair skin and docility in women, qualities she believes she lacks.
"Hey Kanha ji, I know it... no one will ever truly love me. This world is narrow-minded, and I have neither the beauty nor the grace they expect. Why are my parents so eager to tie me down to something I don’t want?"
~Rashmi Verma
Rashmi's insecurities bind her, making her believe she is undeserving of love, and pushing her further away from the idea of marriage.
................................................................................
But destiny has other plans. Rashmi finds herself married to Rudraaksh, a man who, despite her fears, starts to make her feel cherished.
"I started falling for you, my dear husband, my Aaksh. You made me realize I’m worthy of love. I love myself whenever you call me Daisy."
~Rashmi Rudraaksh Agnihotri
But .............................
Her happiness shatters the night Rudraaksh reveals a painful truth.
"Hey Daisy, do you know why I’m drunk today? It’s for my Butterfly… She was the first girl who had the power to attract me, the one I searched for but never found. Every year, I drink, remembering my butterfly.."
~ Rudraaksh Agnihotri
For Rashmi, this confession is devastating.
"Why, Aaksh? Why did you show me love, care, and affection? Did I ever ask for it? You made me believe I deserved to be loved, that I could be someone’s ‘Daisy,’ but deep down, I knew I wasn’t the kind of woman any man wants. Not beautiful, not graceful, not enough."
~ Your Broken Daisy
................................................................................
In a thick dark forest, A gun is aimed at Rudraaksh, Rashmi doesn’t hesitate. She sacrifices herself, stepping into the line of fire. As the gunshot echoes, she collapses in his arms, her body numb, her life slipping away.
"Aap teek hain na, Aaksh?" she whispers, her eyes growing heavy.
(Are You fine?)
But the realization strikes, she’s the one bleeding.
"kahi lagi toh nahi?" Though she asked him to ensure he was not hurt, her voice trembling as her blood-soaked hand reached for his cheek.
(you didn't get hurt?)
"Butterfly…" he whispers, his heart breaking as he realizes what he’s losing.
"Don’t leave me. Please, don’t close your eyes," he begs, patting her cheek, trying to keep her awake.
But It's his Daisy NOT butterfly, a sad smile formed on her lips,
With her last breath, she whispers, "I wish they never open again."
She closed her eyes... "Maybe forever!!!!!!!"
Can Rudraaksh save the woman who gave everything to him, or will he lose her just like he lost his butterfly?
Why did he marry Rashmi, if he still has feelings for another woman?
Will Rashmi ever receive love?
Are her insecurities justified?
